In so many parts of Europe, we stop and comment on the shear volume of litter that is dumped into the environment. This example we noticed floating in the current in the Seine was noticeable because of all the workers there beside it all. These barges are permanently moored, so this litter must be a regular feature at this location. How hard would it be to install some kind of skimmer like the Australian “Seabin” to automatically clean this up?
