When the old Anet A2 printer began to break down more often than it printed, and some of the broken parts were becoming difficult to buy, it was time to buy a replacement. Most importantly, the replacement printer had to be compact, so that it could be stored safely on board SeeBeeZee. Time constraints limited the choice, and in the end, I can not complain about the Bambu Labs A1 Mini that I chose. It is compact, and that is the most common complaint I saw about these when looking at reviews online, but there seemed to be no criticism of the build quality of the printed output. I am still impressed by the quality of the parts I am making on this machine, with it able to print amazingly long bridges without support and so prints very good quality threaded parts.
The full description of this machine and its features can be found here on the Bambu website.
