We missed Percy Island on our first trip in 2016, so this year we made a choice to head out to Middle Percy once clear of Supply Bay.
Middle Percy Island has been a traditional magnet for yachties along the Queensland coast for decades, with the lease holders providing onshore facilities for the visiting boats.
After a couple of nights off the hut on the west beach, the winds swung around to the north, so we took the opportunity to move around to the south end of the island and seek shelter in White’s Bay. We had this scenic anchorage to ourselves for several days, and enjoyed beach walks and fires.
