After our lunch on the river bank, we walked along the river before renting a bike to get down to the Eiffel Tower. Being only a couple of days before the easter long weekend, there were tourists everywhere. We wandered along the promenades along the river, around the parks at the base of the tower, before climbing the stairs to the Trocadero. Maybe it was all the tourists that brought out all the spruikers selling trinckets and the tricksters trying to entice gamblers to their hide the ball under the cup tricks. Maybe they are there all the time. We sat on a bench in the Jardins du Trocadero for some time being entertained by these schemes and enjoying the view.
