After arriving in Paris at Gare du Nord from Amsterdam on the early Eurostar, we deposited our bags in a locker facility, ready for our train out tomorrow night, and headed to a shop to buy lunch.
With a bag full of salad rolls, and juice and fruit, we jumped back onto a train. This time a subway, and headed for Place de la Concorde, where we dodged around construction barriers to find a seat next to the Seine with a view down to the Eiffel Tower.
There we ate a relaxed and healthy lunch on the bank of the river.
