We took the train to Brighton for the day. The morning was bright and sunny, but heavy cloud looked threatening. We decided to follow in Pinkie’s footsteps, and to walk the cliffs to the East, with the backup plan of jumping on a bus if the weather were to break. On our walk, we found a monument for the Prime Meridian, and soon after the weather did break. Instead of taking the bus back to Brighton, we took the outbound trip to Bournemouth, walked around until overcome by the cold and wet, and caught the bus back to Brighton for a pub meal and train to London.
