Today will leave to head NE on our way back to Darwin. The journey back will resume with a couple of short hops, using the tides to move around the headlands, before making the longer jump into the Joseph Bonaparte Gulf again.
We have been here at Freshwater for more than a week, enjoying the plentiful supply of easily obtained freshwater and cool swimming holes in the creek. The days are getting hotter, and the weather more humid, and we need to get to Darwin to make arrangements for SeeBeeZee for the summer.
The photos below are of the creek and pool at the tidal limit of the mangrove creek that gives us access to the water.
