A couple of weeks ago, someone flicked a switch. Overnight, the weather went from mild and dry to hot and humid. We’re now seeing isolated thunderstorms in the afternoons, but still had no rain since May in Darwin!

Well done guys getting to Jar Island. Great to see your photos and story. We went to there. Our turn around was Freshwater Bay, after a swim in the nice lagoons there. Keep having fun, great to follow your trip xx

It looks like Freshwater might be our turnaround point too. We really want to see some places further on, so we’re looking for a way to stay in Darwin over the wet season and get an early start out here again next year.
