With a flood tide and a light SE breeze, we managed to sail up the river as far as the mouth of the Casuarina Creek. From there we had to go up and check the amount of water coming over the falls. From downstream of the falls, we scampered up the slope of scree that leads to the top of the plateau, and then followed along the edge of the cliff to the creek, where we had a quick swim in the fast flowing creek as it ran through the cracks in the polished rocks.
