Arriving at Wathumba Creek

Once ashore, this was the scene back out to SeeBeeZee at anchor

Fingers of golden light shine through the low clouds soon after sunrise as we head NE along the shore of Hervey Bay
We were anchored well out, as the bottom was shelving up sharply
Even at this depth, the bottom shows as clean white sand
What appear to be sticks laying in this pool are actually the tails of stingrays
These extensive sand flats will soon be metres under water
The short track over from the lagoon
The beach is quite extensive with the tide out, but the collapsing trees on the shore show that the high tides have been eroding the dune that separates the lagoon from the ocean.
